ISSJ provides consultation and assistance by multi-language.
ISSJ stuffs and social workers who studied social welfare and psychology can support clients by Japanese, English, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Consultation work
① Adoption/Tracing
ISSJ deals with adoptions so that children will have an opportunity to grow up in home. Especially, ISSJ prioritizes “inter-country adoptions” for less burden on children. The adoption process does not just end upon adoption court process; instead, it’s a process that lasts throughout a lifetime for people involved. ISSJ recognizes adoptee’s right to know and we consider tracing service a part of adoption.

② International marriage, divorce and children
Whether it’s concerning international marriage or divorce, how to get a spouse or children to Japan or any other procedures, you can receive a variety advice from our social workers. We also facilitates visitations and contacts between parents and their children who do not live with each other and are therefore unable to see one another without special arrangement.

③ Stateless children
ISSJ helps stateless children with the procedures to acquire a nationality. If the whereabouts of the parents are unknown, then we will examine what information is available, and try reporting the birth to the respective foreign government office located in Japan. If the child is able to acquire a nationality, then the child will have the option to be reunited with birth family who lives in child’s original country.

④ Refugees support
ISSJ provides a wide range of consultation service for refugee and asylum seekers in Japan in order to facilitate their integration into Japanese society. We take into consideration each person’s back ground in fleeing persecution so as to provide the most appropriate form of support, such as life counseling and home visit. Utilizing our expertise in social work, we take a holistic approach of working not just with the individuals but with their families and communications as well.

Chương trình hoạt động
①ISSJ muốn trẻ em được nuôi dưỡng và lớn lên trong gia đình,không muốn để trẻ con ở trong tình trạng nặng nề về mọi mặt,vì thế đối với trẻ em ở trong nước thì cha mẹ nuôi cũng ở trong nước sẽ được ưu tiên trước .Chúng tôi cũng đảm bảo quyền biết nguồn gốc của trẻ em . Hoạt động tìm kiếm nguồn gốc cũng nằm trong chương trình trợ giúp con nuôi .

②Kết hôn với người nước ngoài,ly dị và các đứa con
ISSJ có nhận tư vấn về các thủ tục kết hôn với người nước ngoài , ly dị,kêu gọi vợ chồng và con cái đến Nhật. Ngòai ra sau khhi ly dị ,tạo dịp cho con cái được gặp lại cha hay mẹ .

③Trẻ con không có quốcx tịch
ISSJ trợ giúp làm thủ tục lấy quốc tịch cho các trẻ em không có quốc tịch. Trường hợp cha mẹ đẻ không biết ( mất tích,bật tin ) thì theo những dấu tích ,thông tin còn lại đem trình đến tòa lãnh sự quán(của nước cha mẹ) tại Nhật .
Kế đến ,khi đứa trẻ nhận được thì sẽ tạo cơ hội đoàn tụ với cha mẹ tùy theo ý nguyện của cả hai bên .

④ Trợ giúp người tị nạn
ISSJ cũng giúp đỡ người tị nạn hay người xin tị nạn sống ở Nhật , giúp cho có được cuộc sống an toàn trong xã hội .
Vì bị đàn áp nên phải bỏ nước ra đi , do đó ISSJ xem xét đến tùy trường hợp của từng người , đến thăm từ gia đình,tư vấn từ cá nhân để cùng nhau tìm cách giải quyết .
Chúng tôi sẽ trợ giúp dự vào tiêu chuẩn của cá nhân ,gia đình,chiều hướng sinh họat của từng người .
